Baseboard construction (continued): In photo 1 there was not a need for so many cross members as an additional board would be on top to support the Brecon Station complex. Photos 2 and 3 just show the general track bed construction – again classic – initial framework or ply, then Sundella followed by a cork base except in the fiddle and Watton yards. The track is pinned down and, directly glued if no ballast, or glued at the same time of ballasting. Photos 4 and 5 show the Brecon complex framework and then with Sundella added as well as the turntable hole. Photo six shows show the end of the initial eastern end phase.
